I suspect the gods would keep on existing, but they would be changed in some way. I suspect gods of more civilized enterprises (like smithing, agriculture, or trade) would take on more primal aspects instead (like wildfire, wild growth, or mineral abundance).

Second possibility, those more civilized gods would start working their magic on other intelligent creatures, developing them into the next, civilized species.

Essentially, I don't know if we imitate the gods, the gods imitate us, or a little of both. Cop-out answer, I know.

I think they would. I think they would not be quite as entertained but I think they would still be there. They are their own thing, IMO totally independent of us.

I believe so, since they put us on earth wouldn't that mean they had to be around first? So yes they would.
