If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

How do I interpret these signs in my work?
« on: October 16, 2017, 10:13:07 am »
Hi, I am currently working a domination spell using headwork. It is something that needs to be worked a lot, and so I've been examining it and have noticed several signs that I am unable to interpret no matter how much I Google it, and I wondered if anyone more experienced might have some advice.

For context; the purpose of this is to break up my ex with someone, and draw him back to me.

My first strange sign was when I began the work; all candles on my altar (I had several to raise energy) had a rainbow like "aura" around them. I'd never seen it before in any of my spellwork, it was incredibly bright and distinctive. I viewed them from several angles, and even lit some normal candles in other parts of the house to see if it was just my eyes. However, only the candles on my altar had this effect. The second day and third day they became a yellow-gold colour.

The second was a candle I burned atop the skull I am using; it was a black one charged with the intent of eliminating his attractions to another woman. It burnt VERY fast, in about ten minutes, and bled a ton of wax. Other candles I have burned (one for communication obstacles to be cleared, one to clear negativity) burned in about 40 mins to an hour. They are the same brand, dressed with the same oil, burned back to back in the same room with no atmospheric change.

The third candle sign was a candle that would not go out when it was on the skull. This candle was to reignite passion and feelings for me. It took forever to burn, and when I attempted to snuff it the flame simply flared up and got stronger. All the other candles went out without any issue. I had to leave this one to burn out as I could not snuff it. It took forever for the flame to go out, even when there was no candle left; the flame kept burning high with a tiny wick and no wax.

Afterwards, I did a quick Tarot reading to assess how my spellwork was affecting his life, and I pulled "The Hanged Man", "8 of Cups", and "Strength reversed". To me this indicates he is struggling with his feelings, and may indicate the spell is working, but its hard to be objective.

I apologize for the long post - I've genuinely searched far and wide and can't seem to find what these candle signs mean. I'm very new to this type of work and I would really like to know if this means I'm headed in the right direction.

Thanks so much in advance! :)

Hi, I am currently working a domination spell using headwork.
<snip>
For context; the purpose of this is to break up my ex with someone, and draw him back to me.

Why would you even do that? Even if the spell did work, what kind of relationship would you end up with?

Trying to alter someone's emotions without their consent or knowledge is the moral equivalent of putting roofies in someone's drink. And even if he never knows about it, you will. You'll never be secure in the relationship because you'll know it's based on deception and manipulation, you'll worry about him finding out what you did to him, and you'll never fully trust him because you know that, if he was making his own choices, he would not be in a relationship with you.

He deserves better than that, and so do you.

I'm no expert on Tarot, but after consulting a few references, I'm seeing this more as "This is going to bite you in the ass if you continue."

Hanged man: you're at a crossroads
8 of cups: the past is done, time to leave
Strength reversed: I'm going to quote a piece from here:

Quote
The cat is out of the bag and this can be quite literally.  A secret may be revealed . Your shadow side is out and it may not be a pretty sight.
... Stop trying to control life so much.  Let go a bit and see what life will deliver.
...Too much power being given to the wrong person or people. ...  There may be displays of lack of respect for others as The Ego becomes overly inflated.

Seriously, this spell is a terrible idea; please stop before you hurt yourself or someone else. And maybe take a good long look at yourself before looking for another relationship.

I agree with everything you've already been warned of, and I will add one more thing:

The candle not snuffing is like a warning bell banging in the haze of unrequited feelings:

It's easy to find love, and much harder to get rid of it.

If you were to alter his feelings and willpower, you might not be able to free yourself from him or his love, lust, affection.  The candle staying lit after you willed it to go out?  You had to leave it to burn down, and then it kept burning when there was no source of energy?

I read that as you've ignited something that is not natural, is not fueled by the normal sources of love, and you're now going to have to let it run its course-and its course will devoid you of your life energy and passion.  You have no control over your creation.

I would cleanse and reverse.   Love is a wonderful and painful thing.  One learns the most in the darkest and loneliest hours.

I send you warmth, light, and compassion.

Dunno about the rainbow, but this points to the spell taking effect really quickly... and wearing off just as fast.

That combined with the rest of the stuff you posted makes me think that while your ex might come back he's not likely to stay very long. Honestly my personal bet is that you and the other party are gonna wind up playing ping pong with this dude - he'll break up with one of you and go back to the other, or just cheat. A shitty situation for all of you, made worse by the magical meddling.

You'd better off cutting ties and focusing on yourself.
