What to do with Anger Water!?
« on: October 10, 2012, 08:25:12 pm »
Howdy folks,

The past few weeks have sucked, horribly. Not really feeling like going into details, but there has been a lot of anger, a lot of rage involved at people who have screwed me over. For the last couple of weeks I've been carrying this around, and decided that it's time to let it go. So I poured me some water into a metal bowl, took a candle, put on a little Seven Devils by Florence + Machine, and channeled all of this anger, all of this pain, into this bowl and let it pour out and be captured by the water.

Now I feel great, I took in light and warmth from the candles I lit, got rid of the darkness, but now I have a metal bowl full of Anger Water(TM), on my counter and I'm wondering what to do with it. Along with a few of the pagan traditions, I also study Hoodoo and know that I could pour it into a creek flowing away, but I'm interested in maybe using it for something later on.

Basically, I'm wondering if there is any use to it. I feel that I put so much of my energy, of myself, into it that I hate it to go to waste. I'm not the kind of person to hex people, but believe a good compelling/commanding working can really help out in sticky situations where somebody is not doing right, could this be used in someway with this? Or maybe there is someway to purify the darkness from the energy, leaving just behind just the positive in the water. If I was to keep it, how should I store it to not affect me/my home? Or should I just pour it down the drain, and let it go.

Any ideas, or beliefs from you all in this situation?

Personally, if any liquid I have is "contaminated," using this word just because I cannot think of any other word to describe what you are talking about, I pour it onto the earth to feed the land and let the earth cleanse it. This also means that part of myself becomes fixed to the actual land by my own beliefs.

If the ritual you performed ends with the emotions being poured into the water, you could conceivably kill two birds with one stone and dispose of that water in a separate purification ritual as representing negativity.  If you plan to store it for later use, I would recommend first consecrating the container, (in accordance with your personal systems of doing so,) so that it neither loses its potency nor attracts the less pleasant varieties of spirits.

Well, this was stuff that you wanted to let go of, right? If it were me, I'd get rid of it. If you need something like it in the future, you can always make something new, geared toward that specific purpose.

First, I know this thread is old, but I hope this helps.  Second, excellent song choice.  Third, I bet it'd make an excellent addition to War Water.
