Crystals for fatigue ?
« on: November 19, 2012, 02:38:47 pm »
Merry Meet,

A coworker has asked me to make them a bracelet with crystals that can help with fatigue...

She would prefer the colors to be close to dark grey or preferably black..

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

hmm I really don't know as far as  getting specific colors, especially in the dark grey to black spectrum for helping with fatigue. In my experiance most crystals related to that are brighter in color and higher in vibration. In general some off the top of my head are the obvious quartz ( in most forms quartz is good for re-energizing, so maybe try smokey quartz, although clear is best in opinion for the job )  amber and amethyst, aquamarine, blue chalcedony,  calcite is good for physical energy boosts.

I would recommend you either do some research in a gem book, or sit down with the gemstones you have and get a good feel for each of them yourself. That way you can make your own determination on what you want to use to what end. ( hope that made sense )

Thank you very much for your input! Yes I explained to her that I'd have a hard time most likely, but she seems to care more of how it looks than what it does..

Sugilite, black tourmaline, blue aventurine, snowflake obsidian, onyx. These can be very dark in color (if you find the right stones for the sugilite and aventurine). They may not energize primarily but might act to assuage some of the effects of fatigue.

Of course everyone reacts differently. Sometimes vastly. My own experiences:

Sugilite has been a mild pain and stress reducer.
Tourmalines increase my spaz too much.
Aventurines also increase my spaz and my happy.
Snowflake Obsidian reduces stress.
Onyx has helped me focus.

Frequently, my experiences are different as I assume most people's would be. But these are the darker stones I have off the top of my head that I might use for fatigue.

Oh yeah, I might also use smokey quartz. It seems to be protective and that could be handy for some kinds of fatigue.

I'm not schooled other than by my own experience. There may be more educated folks about who have better suggestions within that color range.

Maybe take a few of those stones, perhaps a few others that you feel good about  and let your friend select which ones they like?

Snowflake Obsidian is a good stone for protecting against tiredness and stress energies but it also brings up the old to the surface too but is a very gentle stone too. If I could recommend apache tear perhaps as well for change and protection against sadness or negativity, etc. Also Mookite for lifting loneliness too. Just as a thought or two.
