* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Talisman
« on: April 19, 2014, 09:32:11 am »
So I've always been turned to the crafting of talismans and amulets.
My most recent project will be a round shaped wood talisman with the runes Algiz, Ansuz and Nauthiz.

The composition of the same will be a big symbol in the middle with the runes on the sides and bottom making an inverted triangle or 1 on the top making it upwards, I just still haven't decide on which symbol to use along side with the runes, i though either a Pentagram or a Triquetra or any other.

So if you guys could give me a little bit of insight oh which symbol goes well with the runes i would appreciate it

The wood piece is something like this, on a different colour

Since you're using runes it seems like it would make the most sense to go with a heathen symbol, or perhaps a larger bindrune as the central symbol and its composites around the perimeter. However, since this is your talisman it needs to work with whatever makes the most sense to you spiritually/intellectually/magically/whatever. Better something that's important to you because of your personal practice than to randomly pick symbols out of a hat because they look cool, y'know?
Maker, though the darkness comes upon me,
I shall embrace the light. I shall weather the storm.
I shall endure.
What you have created, no one can tear asunder.

Quick turnaround! What do you do with the talisman once you're completed with it?

Well after finished I do one of two

1 - If it's for me I do a consecration ritual

2 - If it's for someone who asked me for a talisman or for selling, i fill it with the magic intent it is supposed to help with

In both cases i make clear intention on what the talisman should be for
