There are so many hundreds of gorgeous decks out there. I'm curious about which ones you use - just one, or a collection?

I have the Mystic Faerie tarot by Barbara Moore and the Carr-Gomms' Druidcraft tarot. I'm mostly using the latter these days.

Off at home in the States I have a Thoth deck and a Goddess tarot.

I had a Hieronymos Bosch deck once but I never felt comfortable with it so I eventually swapped it away.

For my professional readings and for myself I use Crowley's Thoth deck.  The Wizards Tarot deck by Corrine Kenner and John J. Blumen is another EXCELLENT deck for my own readings.  I also own the Dark Grimoire deck, inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, but don't use it for readings.

Nice! I have the Necronomicon Tarot, but don't use it either.

My main deck is the Egipcios Kier Tarot, but I'm slowly transitioning to the Universal Waite (because I'm teaching it). I'd like to start using Crowley's Thoth Tarot, but I don't think I'm ready yet.

I put off buying the Thoth deck for years because I'd built it up in my head as A Big Deal. Then my mom went and bought it "because it's pretty!" So I bought my own out of pure annoyance.

Not that long ago I bought 'The Daemon Tarot' which is not a tarot deck at all, but an oracle deck. I'm trying to use it as much as possible so I can learn it. Because I'm so used to the structure of tarot, I am finding it a little difficult.

I just ordered Shadowscapes Tarot, Illuminati Tarot, and the Vintage Wisdom Oracle. I'm bad at minimalism. I reward myself for not buying clothes/shoes by buying cards/books.

I own and have attempted to use other decks but the one and only for me (right now at least) is Robin Woods.

I own quite a few decks

- The Rider Waite Smith Tarot
- Tarot of Trees
- The Witches Tarot
- Tarot of the Hidden Realm
- The Fountain Tarot
- Crystal Visions Tarot
- The Housewives Tarot
- Dame Darcy's Mermaid Tarot
- Past Life Oracle

I have several coming in the mail and a few independent decks on my wish list still.

However the ones I've connected with the most are The Witches Tarot and Dame Darcy's Mermaid Tarot.

I've gone through a number of Tarot decks in my time with varying success. I currently have four and a half:
  • Rider-Waite (mostly for reference and photography projects)
  • Tarot of the Magical Forest (my surprising favorite--it manages to be both weirdly cutesy and genuinely useful with solid symbolism)
  • The Yoshitaka Amano Tarot (a gorgeous Japanese deck with some unusual but lovely reinterpretations of symbolism; its only flaw, common to Japanese decks, is that the non-Court Minor Arcana are just pips)
  • Tarot of the Silicon Dawn (a very modern deck with a lot of new cards, designed to reject gender essentialism common to Tarot--I like it in principle but find it very hard to work with)
  • The Persona Tarot (Major Arcana only; associated with a video game series. I wish there were more!)
I'm always reluctantly looking for more, though, so I may just go through this thread.
