Runic Correspondences
« on: May 14, 2017, 10:13:48 pm »
I’m finally starting to post my notes on the Runic Correspondences. Currently I have up to Jera. By the end of next week I will have them all up. Check them out and let me know what you think: http://sohmpublishing.com/index.php/runes

As a side note, I understand Runic correspondences are for the most part contrived from each writer’s mind, and or, simply borrowed from other systems like the Tarot and Astrology. Even so, I’ve come to appreciate them for what they are. Not only do they help us consciously focus on different facets of our lives and the world around us, they also offers us different angles at which to look at the Runes themselves, as well as, the ancient Scandinavian and Germanic cultures.

Sometimes the attributes are logically sound, other times it takes a little contemplation to see the connection, and still other times it’s simply “BS.” Even the “BS” ones though can be valuable in that they further solidifies our understandings of what the Runes mean to us simply because here is something we know they are not.

Even though traditionalists, materialists, and quite a few others will find Runic correspondences silly, or worse, downright “BS,” I hope these correspondences find their way to those who will find some value in them.

Be Blessed,
Frodi

I just took a brief look (definitely something I will want to sit down and absorb over time), but looks really nice.  I think it's really interesting to have all the different sources collected in one place (and one one page), so that you can see them right next to each other.  Definitely cool, thanks!
