That sounds like it would make a cool wall display!

So, today I got the pendulum I had my eye on - an onyx cube, the box says it is for "advanced" users but that sounds like marketing copy. It was the only one on the whole shelf that I felt any energy in, so whatever.

And I just did the yes/no/maybe/can't answer thing that Jenett described above ... and it worked. Right away. And the responses were way more distinct than I expected. It was a little creepy to be honest.

I... may go looking for some kind of way to display them, because that is a brilliant idea!

And congratulations on the pendulum!  I have an onyx pendulum living somewhere in this house (I didn't find all of mine in my brief excursion upstairs earlier).  May you two have a solid and strong working relationship!

"Advanced"? Lololol okay sure, gotta study for your "swinging rock on a chain" exams, graduate up your pendulum levels :eyeroll:

I'm glad it's getting results for you! Hope you enjoy it and its a meaningful practice.

I'm thinking of getting a pendulum (mostly because the store in the mall has some nifty ones for sale), but I'm not entirely sure what to do with it. So: anyone here work with pendulums?

Do you have a preferred material?

Bought, found, or handmade?

What do you use your pendulum for? What do pendulums not work well for? Has anyone tried using a pendulum and didn't like it?
My pendulum is a ring tied to a thread.  :)
I use it for yes/no questions.

The only time I tried pendulum use was on a ghost hunt event I attended.  So I guess I was using it to try to communicate with spirits.  Which may very well have been a non-starter since (sadly) I'm not at all sensitive.

I was attracted to the idea, but couldn't get any effective results.  The same went for divining rod, unfortunately.

My pendulum is a ring tied to a thread.  :)

This has inspired me to (maybe, sometime) have another go with pendulums at some stage - easy to do and doesn't require a lot of expense.  Thanks for the idea  :)

Not so much "didn't like" as "can't use". I think they are often pretty, I often seem to feel some kind of energy with them, but I can't get relevant answers to anything whatsoever.  They just seem to move completely at random for me.
