Autism, other learning disabilities, and divination
« on: September 14, 2015, 03:18:29 pm »
Has anyone else on the autistic spectrum noticed that they cannot divine for anyone but themselves? I can sense things neuronormatives can't, but I also can't sense things they can, and apparently I can't divine for anyone but myself. Not shocking, since the word autistic means what it means, but like my symptoms in general, it got worse over time. Does anyone else, autistic or otherwise not neuronormative, have this problem? And if you have this problem and ARE neuronormative, when and how did you notice it?

Regards,

Not exactly - but I have a much harder time reading in person than remotely. I'm notoriously bad at reading social signals, and I think I let my instincts get 'interrupted' by overwhelm by social stuff when reading for someone face-to-face. As much as possible, I try to stick to reading over the internet. Still, reading in person can be a good opportunity. I just try to be a lot more careful then! Have you done much reading without the person sat in front of you?
