It was looking like VB created autolinks to the wiki - every time someone said "paganism", VB made a link (made a link, took a drink - hence, drinking game).  I was trying to see how automatic it actually was.

I've turned that off (or at least mostly off) because 1) it is CPU intensive; 2) it will confuse people who can't understand why some word in their posts is linked when they did not put a link there; and 3) it links common words like "homepage" which is just going to confuse people in general.

Oh, bless you, bless you, bless you!  I was hoping that was the reason my test didn't do anything!

That's what it was for, to find out if what I thought was happening was what was happening, preliminary to asking if you could please get rid of it.  (I've seen autolinkers elsewhere, and I despise them - they're way too literal-minded and stupid to be useful without a lot of human oversight.)

I'm very glad I was running late on that one.
