* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

On the mobile theme, the mod-hat box shows up fine, but the graphic shoves all the text into a really tiny column.  Not pretty, but functional.  :)

I don't think there is any way to avoid that. I don't think BBCode has any way of detecting styles.  However, there is a new mod that allows BBCodes to invoke php routines. I'm not about to waste time figuring out how to detect style and output different HTML for the lightweight style for the mod bbcode now while we are trying to get board up and working, but once the mod gets a bit more testing and the new board is up and running, we could probably do this.

Hmmm. I wonder if any of our regular members are really good at php coding and have lots of time on their hands?

IDK, it looks sort of ambiguous and I really would have no clue if any of the forums I clicked on will show up or not on the new posts list (besides the one specifically designed for testing) until we open the doors.

It worked when I tested it on the Test board.

And it's working for me as well.  It would be so much easier if there was a checklist.  Instead you have a forum that is highlighted and you can not tell if another one you wish to ignore is working.  would someone do a test post in The Batshit Folder?  Apparently my posts are excluded from being "new" to me.

They are on almost every board software available as most people would be confused otherwise. Going to post something now.

And the second I clicked on the Alternative and Revisionist Histories forum this one went off of ignore.  That can't be good:(

Sorry, but I have no idea what you mean. You will need to describe the initial setup you had, what you clicked, and what happened in a bit more detail.

If you hold CTRL before you click on a forum name, you'll be able to highlight/select more than one forum to ignore at a time.

There is a box at the bottom of the general settings page that lists all of the forums.  When you click on one it becomes highlighted in blue.  When you click on another, the highlight jumps from the previously clicked one to the most recent.

Holding down the control button like Juni suggested seems to have worked, though.

That wasn't what I thought you were talking about at all. I thought you were saying that if you clicked on a message in a forum you had selected not to display new messages from it, it turned the forum back on for displaying new messages. :o

I tried to put an image in my signature (it's the same one from SMF) and instead it's showing as a link. Are sig images turned off for my usergroup or am I being thickheaded again?

Did you wrap the link with image codes?
