4x10 vs 5x5

Obviously there are many factors to consider, but what do you feel works best for achieving your goals at the gym?  4x10 per exercise or 5x5?  Or even 3x6, 4x8, etc? 

My default standard for nearly every exercise is 4x10, and have had great results with that towards my strength, speed and endurance.  Lately however I have been experimenting with 5x5 on the exercises I prioritize most and have achieved similar results, except my form is better and I can utilize more weights.  What about others here?
