Yuletide 2012
« on: December 25, 2012, 07:27:17 pm »
Since, hey, I suspect I'm not the only one around here who celebrates December 25th by immersing myself in the amazing archive of small-fandom fic.

My initial recs list is over at my Dreamwidth, for those who want a sampling. (I note I haven't even looked at the mythology tags yet, because they're pretty extensive, but there's a good couple of dozen stories there, and generally some of them are really awesome.)

(For those who don't know, there is a massive - c. 2000 person - fanfic exchange every year aimed at small fandoms, plus a bunch of odd things. Heartshadow, I recommend the Knitting - Anthropomorphic tag to your attention.)

*eyes the tag with some suspicion, then clicks*

.... if no one sees me for a few days, blame Jenett.

Hehe, I've just been working on a Star Trek fanfiction and looking for a place to publish it... - looks like I'm not the only one busy in the fanfic area... :whis:

I could not resist reading T-Rex walks into the Creation Museum.

Me, I am entirely innocent! Except for directing your attention a certain way.

That is an awesome story. (And one of the things I love about Yuletide is that you get that kind of thing. Stuff I didn't know my universe needed in it, and that's just delightful.)

Yes, it was. I wasn't sure what to expect, but with a ritle like that, I had to try it.
