Took a while but I'm back with a new blog post.
It's been a while of soul searching ( I notice I'm not the only one. It's nice reading the posts on here because they all make me stop and think ).
My question for myself today is - https://musinghouse.home.blog/2020/07/23/who-am-i/

Good to see you  :)

I'm a bit behind with my blog reading, so I've some catching up to do there when I get a chance (fortunately it's the weekend -- thank goodness!)

I wrote last weekend about Home and Hauntings as I was up to H in the alphabet.

I can't begin to imagine what life would be like without a resident ghost or two, other than very, very quiet.

Aw I'm kind of sad, because an ending; but the very best of wishes for the rest of your writing endeavours, and I look forward to reading some of them in the future.

This weekend I've bemoaned my Insomnia - if anyone has any useful suggestions for me, there's an Insomnia thread which I'd be most grateful if you could resurrect!  Thanks in advance (with my fingers crossed).

Thanks Perdita!  I definitely have mixed emotions about letting go of that space, but it's long overdue.  I'm still getting my ducks in a row for the next big adventure but will update when the fluffly little quackers are lined up (i.e., when I have a working website up and running).

Insomnia sucks. Thread brought back from the dead.

My question for myself today is - https://musinghouse.home.blog/2020/07/23/who-am-i/

I like this, especially the point of not having an answer and that being okay.  I think some of the biggest, and most important, questions we can ask don't have answers, but the point is to ask them anyways, to think about what comes up, and to keep examining how our response to the question changes.

I've never been able to sense much, ghost wise, though I always thought it would be really cool to live in a haunted house.  I've never been on any ghost hunts, though some of the other local pagans have done them.

13 years is indeed quite a long run!  I sometimes struggle with ending things, so I very much applaud your ability to tie things up and move on to the next project.

Ugh insomnia sucks, I added my thoughts in the other thread (mostly I do a lot of the recommended stuff...but I also really like taking Melatonin gummies)

TY!  It's taken me a long time to get to the letting-go point, but I'm finally there and ready to move on.

I do hope you'll be leaving it up as an archive! (Probably a goof idea to turn off all commenting, though.)

It's going to stay up for the foreseeable future.  Thank you for mentioning the commenting - had not thought of that.

I'm still behind with my blog reading, but I'm looking forward to catching up with that one, sounds interesting.

Last weekend I wrote about Jump scares in horror movies, with mini reviews of just a few of my favourite films in that genre.  Never too early to start getting in the Halloween mood in my opinion!

You me both on being behind on blog reading Perdita.
I'm also looking forward to halloween - groups of children having fun, dressing the house, and most of all, the cool air of autumn.

So my new post is just a rambling muse about belonging and being ones self. https://musinghouse.home.blog/2020/08/09/be-longing/
