And I'm in Shelton Connecticut USA. I think for US postal, it's a flat rate of 44 cents for a regular letter. Don't quote me on it though.

Correction, it's gone up to 49 cents.

I apologize if this has already been posted or if this is in the wrong category.
This has been on my mind for a long time. I would love a Pagan Pen Pal. I think it would be a great bonding experience! Many Pagans (including myself) have no connections where they live, so I feel like having Pen Pals will make the world seem a lot smaller and it'll build strong, magickal bonds between fellow Pagans and Witches. We could exchange things such as idle discussion, what's going on where we live, or even exchange spells and other Pagan related things. So, thoughts? I would really like this to happen. :)

Oh yeah this sounds wonderful! I miss writing letters to someone and I've been dying to write again. If anyone wants to be penpals send me a pm! I've been away for quite a while but I'm on again.

And for anyone who writes me: I'm letting you know now that I'm all about the fancy stationery and pretty stamps. So you'll always know it's from Sasha. :)

Oh receiving letters on fancy stationary is always the best! I like to see what kinds I get in the mail whenever someone sends me something.

I don't know any pagans, so this sounds like a great idea! I'm very interested in being able to communicate with other pagans. I'm interested in sending letters, but I'm not opposed to email. Send me a pm if anyone's interested in receiving letters.

I think this sounds awesome! I'm pretty much alone where I am too. Bible Belt. Pm me if you want my address. I can do snail mail or email. Either is great.

Unlike US zip codes, which usually only narrow it down to a town/region (or perhaps a largish part of a big city), Canadian postal codes are much more specific, and narrow it down (in urban areas) to a block or part of a block, or even a single office/apartment building - they're meant to allow a piece of mail to be delivered even if the address is illegible. (F'ex, my postal code is shared only by ten single-household houses.)

So, no Canadian postal codes - staff (well, Catja, Jubes, and I; non-Canadian staff might not realize) would be likely to edit them out of posts if we see them, just as we do with addresses and phone numbers in most cases. And when we don't know for sure how another country's post codes work, we'd be likely to err on the side of caution and remove them.

THIS!

I googled my postal code and it literally brought up my street address in the first hit, this  would  be an example of a Canadian postal code narrowing down to an apartment building.

A Reminder:
Hi, Aspiria,

Just a quick note:  Please remember to quote, even if you're just  replying to the first message in the thread.  It makes the discussion  easier to follow, and it's required by  our  rules. (If you're using tapatalk on a phone, please hold your finger down on the message you wish to reply to until the quote function pops up.)

This isn't a formal warning, just a reminder.  No  reply is necessary, but if you have questions or need clarification,  please feel free to contact a member of staff privately.

Thanks!

I'd love some pagan penpals. I'm in the UK and snail mail would be ideal for me. I don't mind sending mail internationally. PM me if you want to correspond.

Jake, who is in the UK, mentioned in chat the other day that UK post codes, like Canadian postal codes, narrow it down that far, and I forgot to add it to this thread. Now I am.

snail mail has that nostalgic feeling to it.

Exactly! :)

I  like writing and receiving real cards and letters - by snail mail.

And I think it a good idea to exchange cards or letters here.

So - let's go ahead with this idea. :)
