I finally can love my phone

Is it weird that I went from hating my phone to loving my phone as soon as I installed a widget to display the moon phase?

It's really weird because I feel like someone who's never had a watch and who just got handed a Rolex.

I used to buy the Lunaria calender every year so I could see what the moon was up to every day, but the app is just so much more convenient since you can check if you're on the bus and like, "...holy balls, is it waning already?!"

I never knew I needed it. Now I don't know how I'll live without it. Seriously. All of Asia uses a lunar calendar to schedule religious festivals. This makes things SO MUCH EASIER.

Here, here!

Yay, not having to go outside in -15 to peer through thick cloudcover to see what phase it is!

What kind of moon apps do you guys use? And on what OS? :)

My horrible phone uses Android 4.0, the "Ice Cream Sandwich." (It is horrible not because of that, but because the physical phone is a piece of shit.) I use the "Simple Moon Phase Calender" which just shows you the basic moon phase for every day - it doesn't say what sign the moon is or anything. It was free and has no ads, and I found it in the Google Play store.

Android for me. I use an app called "Phases of the moon - Free!" It's quite lovely. Gives the zodiac sign and everything. Great graphics. Has a little ad bar at the bottom, but all it ever says is "click here to remove this ad."

Nope, not at all.  It's one of the apps I went looking for myself :)

I'm running Android 4.2.2 on a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 inch.  I looked at a lot of moon phase apps back when I first bought the tablet and settled on Sundroid Pro.  Yes, it's a paid app but I can't recall paying all that much for it, $3 or $4 perhaps?  I can't stand advertising on a device that I paid for, so I'm willing to pay a few bucks to make sure I have a clean interface.  The capabilities of the app are extensive which made the choice of purchase an easy one.
Reality is but perception.

I do have a neat clock on my techology tools but the app I really love is an AMAZING tarot app of my FAVORITE deck.

The caps were necessary. So was the app. It's a tad pricier than what I'd like to/can afford to pay but it is the best app I've ever bought. So wonderful. Almost makes up for the problems I've been having it this week alone.
