Every Black Hole Contains a New Universe
« on: December 11, 2013, 07:18:16 pm »
Our universe may exist inside a black hole. This may sound strange, but it could actually be the best explanation of how the universe began, and what we observe today. It's a theory that has been explored over the past few decades by a small group of physicists

Who haven't actually been able to come up with any way of testing the theory. Also the article implies that the theory gives a clearer origin of the universe than the standard model. However, it does not really include an origin just an infinite (?) series of other universes with black holes.

Which actually makes a certain amount of sense.
According to Relativity, the greater the mass, the greater the curvature of space-time. Therefore, there should come a time when the curvature becomes infinite, creating a new closed system

Some of the combinations of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics rule out singularities of that type.

Infinite spacial curvature would require a singularity, wouldn't it?
Hmmm ......

Some attempts to combine relativity and quamtum mechanics do not have such infinities -- and therefore no (true) singularities.
