Witchcraft, but not as you know it

An article The Irish Times did with my HPriestess. The media obviously put their own twist on it to make it public friendly, so aside from some of the stuff we're used to hearing, a great article to have in the public eye.

This is a very good article indeed. Far better than most of the ones I've seen in American papers.

So I'm guessing it was the journalist who was calling everything "ancient?" :) Otherwise, quite an excellent and refreshing article indeed.

Yes. Barbara was from Janet&Stewart Farrar's old coven, and requires all of her neophytes to read The Triumph of the Moon ;)

I don't know that an Asatruer really needs to read TotM, though I definitely think it's a rollicking and informative read.  I usually suggest it to anyone interested in Wicca or Wiccish paths.

Actually, I'd argue that there are several chapters of interest to pagans in general, since the author talks a lot about the varied roots of modern pagan revivalism in the Romantic era and such - the whole legacy on which neopaganism as we know it was built. It may not be directly relevant to those of a Recon bent, but I think it's pretty interesting stuff.
