* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

British police say the mutilation and brutal death of a horse may have been the result of a pagan ritual.

Because, you know, only pagans murder and dismember living things.

That was a fast jump to conclusions on the polices' part. How about someone mad at the owner? I still find it hard to believe people really still think this about pagans.

Has there been evidence at all that pagans have done such a thing even once in say the last 20 years?

Reading this article sheds some more light on it: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cornwall-16501650
"Police investigating the mutilation of a horse in Cornwall have said they "cannot rule out" a link with a Satanic ritual."

How interestingly ABC translates that...

Also worth a mention: http://www.skeptic.com/doubtful-news/horse-mutilation-dubiously-connected-to-satanism/

Exactly.  With the possible exception of the teeth being removed, I would say that it could have been the work of scavengers.  Of course, without more information on cause of death we can't really say for sure.

The short article seems to say that most of the "pagan ritual" part is press speculation and that little is actually known. This looks like a case of "exciting headline writing" because the police did not rule out the speculation.
