Sacred Burial Sites Desecrated
« on: September 04, 2016, 12:05:59 am »
"CANNON BALL, NORTH DAKOTA – Sacred places containing ancient burial sites, places of prayer and other significant cultural artifacts of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe were destroyed Saturday by Energy Transfer Partners, Tribal Chairman David Archambault II said."

Story is here

Recently, there's been large protests in North Dakota fighting against building pipelines in Sioux lands, however, they've been met with fierce opposition lately, including the use of tear gas. Now, just today, a company mowed through historic and sacred burial and prayer sites. IMO this is extremely sick behavior.

It's probably saying something that when I came back from my weekend away to see this news on my feed I wasn't even surprised it happened. Like, yeah, and in other news it's Monday.

Meanwhile 772451692038197249[/tweet]]the spin machine is working hard to paint those of us who are against DAPL as horrible, anti-energy job killers. Because there's nothing worse than being a job killer! And being against oil means you're totally against all forms of energy ever and want our civilization to collapse; there is no possible way you're, like, pro-other forms of energy. No way. Impossible. IT IS ONE OR THE OTHER.
Pray drunk. Hex sober.
