Pastor Hagee Calls on Congress to Ban Witchcraft
« on: June 05, 2012, 05:19:26 pm »
...and tells all atheists to get on a one-way flight out of the country. YEEE-HAW!

The first song sets the wheel in motion / The second is a song of love / The third song tells of Her devotion / The fourth cries joy from the sky above
The fifth song binds our fate to silence / and bids us live each moment well / The sixth unleashes rage and violence / The seventh song has truth to tell
The last song echoes through the ages / to ask its question all night long / And close the circle on these pages / These, the metamythos songs

Probably not. Idiocy doesn't seem to be curable.

And if all the atheists leave, along with all the practitioners of witchcraft, the country's population would get really small. :whis:

Probably not given the numbers involved.  But if the sane Christians decide to follow, then the population would get really small;)

One of the things I don't miss about San Antonio: John Hagee. There's a reason this guy has bodyguards and it isn't paranoia.

Makes me glad I'm not a Christian. This man wouldn't know what witchcraft was if it came and sat on his head.

Pastor Hagee doesn't speak for all Christians.  Or even most Christians.  At all.

If it's because you think Elani is cute - which I agree with - give it up

Her girlfriend might object ;)

His church has about 20,000 members last I heard. Of course, San Antonio has a population of about 1.3 million (2.2 million in the metro area), so that's not that many followers even in his home city. The majority religion in the area is Catholic and if I remember correctly, Haggee doesn't really consider Catholics Christian. So no, he doesn't speak for that many Christians. But he has a controversial message that gets in the news a lot.

It amazes me how often I come across this belief, and yet every time I do it boggles my mind.
"I\'ve seen fake gods, and bad gods, and demigods and would-be gods; out of all that, out of that whole pantheon,
if I believe in one thing... just one thing... I believe in her."
