Missing Manannan Statue Found
« on: February 21, 2015, 01:02:26 pm »
I could have sworn we had a thread about the stolen Manannan statue in Ireland, but none of my search terms are bringing anything up, so a new thread it is.

Exactly a month after it was stolen, the missing Manannan statue has been found, and is being returned to the Limavady Borough Council. There's no word on if it is significantly damaged, or when (or even if) it will be restored to its previous location, but I hope it'll be displayed in some manner or another.

Oh, I'm surprised we didn't talk about this at the time. It was a strange and shocking  thing. Glad to hear the statue is back.

I could have sworn it came up in a thread about something else too! Perhaps it got enough press elsewhere that no one thought to make a thread here.

Glad the statue has been found, though!

I'm glad it's back :), but even though that situation sucked, it was amazing to see how much that unfortunate event brought everyone together.

I could have sworn we had a thread on it, too. Then again, maybe I read about it on the Wild Hunt and I'm getting my websites confused.

So good to hear that it's returned, though.
