Might as well throw my referral link in here too! I just donated towards a weaving group for Athene's day- it really is a great way to celebrate and give back to the community. I've been poking at Kiva Zip, too, which is looking interesting.

I have enjoyed poking around Kiva Zip also. I found a bunch of local projects to support!

Just bumping this because all of our official targets have been funded.

So far, The Emboatening Crew (now including embovining and emgoatening!) has loaned $925.  Opet has three more weeks to go, so if you've been thinking about charitable work please consider joining our team!

Many of us have posted our referral links earlier in this thread.  If you join through referral, both you and your referrer will be given $25 to donate for free.

I've been distracted by Kiva Zip lately but I made two more boat-related loans today. One was for fishing nets - I hope that's close enough? XD

Totally close enough. Thanks for reminding me about this -- I just made a big payment on my computer, but I want to start dishing out loans on a regular basis as part of a spiritual practice.

Actually, I was wondering if we could stir up some more attention for our Emboatening Crew with Wesir's Mysteries coming up. Throw in a few boats (and bovines, of course :D), maybe look for loans relating to agriculture as well, with Wesir being a god of vegetation. I keep thinking rice since it grows well in flooded areas. Alternatively, look for any loans for widows or for things related to peace and conflict resolution.

One of the loans I helped fund today is this fisherwoman, and I'd love to see her funded!

Sure we could.  It's a fantastic idea.

Hey! We're up to 43 loans of $1,125 total! That's amazing you guys! I bet we could between all of us make that 50 total loans by the end of the month. *Nudge nudge nudge*

YOU get a cow! And YOU get a cow! And YOU - I'm sorry ma'am, you are a cow, would you like a solar barque instead?

I just posted a message on Kiva about possible lending goals with links to 4 emboatenings and 4 embovinings. One of the embovinings has three days left on their fundraising period. Cows for everyone!!!
