Myth regarding Set hung on a cross?

Good morning! I came across something while researching the origins of the cross the other day. It was something about Set hung on a cross (presumably for gaining wisdom?), but I can't find any reliable resources on it.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Not in the slightest, so my assumption would be "pulled out of someone's arse".
