I have a family member who is likely to die very soon, much sooner than I had expected, and I am realizing: I have no idea what the correct protocol is for mourning someone recently deceased, as opposed to honoring your other akhu. Help?

To be honest? She's someone I love deeply, and I also feel extremely unemotional about this. Really I just want to make sure that I'm doing everything I can to help her make her way safely.
