I can vouch for Tana's ability to contact animals.

Thanks, Aster. :)

But there is of course never a guarantee.

Fausta, I think I had contact now.
He was sniffing around the mud on the river banks.

I tried to tell him to let himself be seen and to not run away, not sure, I reached him.
Also I think, he saw someone, but stayed in hiding between bushes.

The picture I got was a bigger car, like a jeep? and a blonde woman getting out of it?
He saw her, but stayed were he was.

I will try again to tell him, that he is a pet and that he is supposed to be at home.

Fingers crossed for this pup, and lighting a candle now to ask for Brighid's help and to add some "remember you're a pet dog and let the people find you" energy.

Thank you!

I wonder if someone has taken him in. I'll send something here as you have said to do. A where are you hiding thing.

Thank you! :) If somebody has taken him in, they let him run loose, too -> the tracks we've found.

Can you get any clarification whether it's mud on the river banks, mud elsewhere or something else on river banks? The river is frozen and coated with snow, with only a couple of unfrozen spots nearer mid-river. Banks are covered with snow, too. Only spot of unfrozen water I found at a bank was a spot where water flows from an underground trench back overground to a steep-banked little stream.

Judging from what the snow shows, that area had had only movement by foot (the owner earlier today and us just recently) and a tractor using the area to turn,  no cars.

That, on the other had (bushes, car visible) could be near (the dog) and on (the car) a bridge going over the river. At that point there are some spots of still unfrozen water AND paw prints on the snow covering the ice.

Well, it is not an exact science, sometimes you catch pictures from the past, too.
And since he is on the run for quite some time now, it's possible that the first picture was older. At least I didn't see snow - but then, it is not like looking through a camera.

I'll just try to contact him again and give you what I get, maybe a useful hint will be among the whole stuff.

I know and I'm sorry...  I came across with a tone not intended. :(

No, no! It didn't!

I just wanted to explain, how this whole thing works.
With animal searches it can be highly frustrating, because the information I get (any ac gets) is often so generic, that it is next to useless.

All we can do is trying and hoping one of the hints will finally help to locate the pet.

The good thing, here is only one telepath at work.
I swear, I had searches, where the whole bunch of people was starting to influence each other to a point, that I totally would have confirmed even something like: Oh, the dog sits on the steeple and knits a sweater. ;)

Any hint on where to look is quite welcomed indeed!

Update: game cameras caught "something brown" in the bottom part of a pic, size- and colourwise this could be the missing dog! That would be the closest we've got to spotting him during the whole of 4 months he's been gone!

I have a general idea where the camera is. I've stayed clear of the area lately, as the missing dog's owner has a bitch in heat and they're walking around a given area, leaving her scent and putting out food.

My boys would start their "we'll yodel at night the song of our people, it's called the 'Broken Hearts Ballad' and it is saaaaaaaaad" routine if we went there now. :D Well, the Pharaoh would, the Ibizan has been neutered for half a year - but still likes to join in a good yodel.

Now I know exactly where the camera is and judging by footprints in the snow, it hasn't been visited by the owner this week.

I think the owner had set Christmas as the date when she'd give up hope and stop trying. It has been very long months with just a few glimpses of hope.

Aww, I am sorry to hear this.
But I can also understand. Missing since August is really, really a long time.
