* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Phone call to Citi today confirmed:

He qualified for the program.
Both the June and July payments have already been deferred to the end of the payment term.
As of August, the monthly payment will be $1. (Yes. One US dollar.)
No further paperwork is required for any reason.

I'm really that they confirmed it. [[[[Hugs to you all]]]]

I didn't want to celebrate until it was confirmed, and of course I was off on vacation before it was.  But I can now do a belated, but no less enthusiastic, Snoopy Happy Dance for you!

First: I want to scream "THANK YOU!" from the rooftop. I can't--I'd fall through--but I want to. You all ROCK.

Second: Husband got an official-looking letter today. He opened it with great trepidation (and a letter opener).

He qualifies for an unemployment forbearance. ("He," because I'm not in this game directly; I'm not on any paperwork for anything, here. Also, someone needs to tell Citibank that "that word does not mean what you think it means.") From here on out, as of August 1 until--apparently--next July, our monthly mortgage payments will be $1. He was told that Citi will be making the escrow payments for that entire time, and that the two payments due right now (June and July) will be moved to the end of the entire cycle. Which, if it's really true, is AMAZING.

He's waiting for confirmation of that now.

I also need to note that this happened pretty quickly, once he emailed the fellow in charge of the account and said, basically: "So, it's been over 50 days since we started this proceeding. I was told I'd have an answer to one program in 10 days, and the other in 30. I expect answers tomorrow, or I'll be contacting my attorney and starting a suit against you for fraud."

Aine Rayne,

Just a note:  Staff can tell that you've tried to quote, but we don't always have time to fix it when it doesn't show up.  In your case, the thing you seem to be doing most often is leaving the opening and closing code on the same line after you delete the content.  Just hit return after the first closed bracket and before the next open one (in other words, where the words used to be) and you should be fine.

Thank ALL of you again. I cannot say it often enough, or loudly enough. I am indebted to you all for your kindnesses.

After reading the ominous news months ago, I somehow managed to miss the good news until now! I wish you could see the big grin on my face as I read the happy news, Karen. May this be the only the beginning of the best turnaround ever.
The first song sets the wheel in motion / The second is a song of love / The third song tells of Her devotion / The fourth cries joy from the sky above
The fifth song binds our fate to silence / and bids us live each moment well / The sixth unleashes rage and violence / The seventh song has truth to tell
The last song echoes through the ages / to ask its question all night long / And close the circle on these pages / These, the metamythos songs

This is a thank-you to all of you who've posted to whom I haven't said it already. :)

And Altair, I'm glad my news made you smile. It's a small step, really, considering what we're facing here--but it's a step, and I'm relieved we've been able to take it.
