Need Good Vibes for Quick House Sale

Hey all,

My mom has been trying to sell her house for the better part of this year, and she could use some real good vibes. Check end of post for TL;DR version.

She's actually sold the house once, and it was almost completed, but the deal collapsed because of personal issues in the buyer's life. When she first sold the house, she had several showings in one week and it sold almost immediately.

After the deal collapsed, the showings dropped to about 1 a month, and the market in her town slowed to a crawl. She's spent the summer straddled between two houses as she'd already started the process of moving into her new place.

We've had buyers interested over the past several months, but no solid bites. Mom just had another showing and one of the leads looks very promising. We'd really appreciate whatever energy, prayers, witchy stuff you can send our way to make the sale happen and soon. Mom really needs to be able to complete her move and, you know, have the money from the house sale, because we're starting to really hurt while she's stuck in this limbo.

I've pushed some energy along, and will consult with deity-type persons of my acquaintance to see who is up for being helpful.

Have you tried the folk-Catholicism trick of burying a statue of St Joseph upside down?

I'm usually a little hesitant about announcing involvement with requests in this forum given the contrasting backgrounds, but I think I can hear an echo of somebody saying, "Give us a try!" So I'm going to make it a point to place petitions on your behalf for the next week or so. Please do me the favor of letting us know if you and your mother receive any good 'breaks' in the near future.

I have urged mom to do this for months now, but I don't want to do it on her behalf -- for one, I'd have to go back up to PR and that won't happen for a while yet, and for another, I don't know if I did do it on her behalf if she would then uproot the statue upon sale of the house and put him in a place of honor in her home.

I feel it's important to do that, if we're going to engage in the practice.

I'll bring it up with her again. One of the sticking points has been the severe lack of St Joseph statues here, though I do wonder if she has reservations about having a saint shrine space in her house.

So...this requires an update.

The original deal collapsed because of aforementioned issues in buyer's life. Buyer then gets things sorted, and buys the house *again* on some sort of payment plan that you can work out when it's a private deal (plus damages for dropping out the first time).

(Mom is now moved into her new house and there is a tenant in her old house, as part of an agreement with the buyer while she worked on being able to move up.)

Then just a week or so ago, the buyer messages her and says she's dropping out and that she and her fiance are cutting off all contact.

(Red flags here: when mom met the buyer last year the woman was fresh out of a divorce from a horrible marriage, and had no fiance or boyfriend. As of the end of last year she barely had a boyfriend. Now mom gets messages from her that honestly sound like this fiance wrote them. Including threats to sue my mom. I honestly do hope for the buyer's sake that she gets out of whatever horrible situation she's probably in, but also we can't expend any more emotional energy on her than that.)

SO to teal deer again: sold the house, sale fell through. Sold house again, sale fell through again. All with the same buyer.

On the plus side, mom does have a great tenant in the house who is mightily improving the place, and may want to lease it for another year, paid upfront. As well, the ex-buyer has zero legal standing with which to sue mom, so...like, go ahead and try, lady.

On the not plus side, mom now has to pay property tax for TWO properties, she is now short all the money that was supposed to come in from the buyer which is really putting a cramp in, you know, the mortgage and required renos on her new place, and the joke that we're cursed is really seeming like it's...not a joke? 

I've been a witch long enough to know it's silly to ascribe a curse to every bit of bad luck, and that is definitely not what I'm doing. There are good reasons for my thinking it's a curse, though I don't actually think a consciously-cast one. (I'm not going to get into the details because it involves family stuff, but suffice it to say I have good reason to suspect there is a long-working curse on both of us.)

Anyway, if you have continued energy for this house clusterfuck saga and getting it to a point where it's not having mom hemorrhage money...I really appreciate it, and so does she.
