I didn't think they would have you conscious for it -- for a lot of people, getting your wisdom teeth or your tonsils removed is your first actual surgery.

Glad all went well. Enjoy the codeine! I was on Vicodin and mostly just slept and had weird dreams, so I did not have nearly as much fun as I should have had. :p

I am glad to hear your procedure went smoothly! I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed at once in the last year. My mouth was sore for about 6 weeks after, and I couldn't drink cold liquids for quite some time. Stock up on the painkillers! Luckily I didn't need anything major, just regular OTC ibuprofen. I hope your mouth feels better!

I did get to keep all my teeth, but I asked for them prior to the procedure.
