Oral surgery tomorrow!

Hey everyone,

Tomorrow I'm getting my top two wisdom teeth extracted. (The bottom ones don't exist!) I'm not sure if I'll be totally put under or if they'll give me a mix of nitrous oxide and novocaine - either way I'm really nervous for the procedure. Almost more than the pain I'm scared of having a vasovagal response again, which has been cropping up a lot this year with even routine medical procedures that usually don't cause me any anxiety. Any prayers for keeping me calm and safe would be very, very appreciated.

No word yet on whether they'll let me keep the teeth to make into a necklace. Or incorporate them into a tiara. (Get it? Because then they'd be a crown! )

Responding to everyone in the thread - thank you tremendously for all your support. The procedure went off without a hitch. I was put completely under. Currently on codeine for pain and something for anti-nausea. Enjoying a diet of chocolate pudding, mashed potatoes, and applesauce.

I'm gonna be a little woozy for a few days I think, so if you don't hear from me on my usual internet haunts don't worry.

And sadly I did not get to keep my teeth! They'd tossed them by the time I woke up.
