Refugees Court case
« on: May 17, 2013, 07:43:11 am »
My friend is a young lesbian refugee. She has a court case on Monday to see if she is allowed to stay here. The rest of her family were already deported and are in hiding in their country of origin even though they had a really good case.

Any prayer and energy stuff and possible petitions to Gods of justice and Gods of dispossessed/displaced people would be more than welcome

Thank you

Thank you to anyone who sent energy and prayers. she was granted asylum which was VERY unexpected :) (and also creates a test case for other lesbians or women at risk of fgm seeking asylum from her country of origin)

Oh, that's awesome news! I'm glad she was able to get asylum.

That's really great. My partner has done work experience in that field of law, and it's so hard to get asylum even when such awful things are going on. Good news (and helpful precedent for future cases).
