Not Quite Sure What's Wrong But Scared And Might Need Some Prayers/Energy

Recently, things have been just crazy for me. I don't usually ask for prayers/energy/stuff like that when things go wrong but I don't really know what else to do.

For some reason, recently things in my head have been going insane.

I keep seeing shadow figures everywhere, whenever I close my eyes I see gruesome images, which makes it hard to sleep. When I DO sleep, I have nightmares. My moods have been off their rocker more than usual. I keep hearing...things that no one else is hearing. Lastly, the Empathy things I feel have been really intense and freaking me out.

I have no clue what's wrong.

I'm on medication (For ADHD, OCD, and Bipolar), but I've been on it for a while with none of these side effects so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I don't know when I'll be able to get an appointment with my psychiatrist again to talk about these things so I'm a little worried about the wait.

So, if anyone could maybe have a prayer or something for me, I'd appreciate it.

I'm actually really scared.

Seconding this - sometimes even if you've been on meds for a while, they can start interacting with other things in surprising ways, or you may need to increase your dosage (obtrusive, gruesome thoughts is something that goes with my OCD, for example, so it may be related to yours as well). It happens.

I think you chimed in on the Shadow People thread as well, right? It's been my experience that there are things out there that seem to find people in rough mental states to be a Nummy Treat. Starting a regular psychic hygiene regimen is never a bad idea (though with OCD you might want to make sure you don't go overboard) and has a twofold benefit - if something unpleasant is hanging around, it will probably send it packing, and if it's your personal demons instead, it can be comforting enough to force your brain to back off. (Hooray for the placebo effect?)

I'd at least call and report the changes as they could easily be from medicine. Sometimes medicines can do strange things even if they did not at first.

I talked to my mom and she told me that I have a doctor's appointment next week. She said that we can bring it up then.

So, that's good.

I'm glad to hear you have an appointment soon.  But, still, if you start to feel like you have a truly urgent need, don't hesitate to call your doctor sooner, anyway.   Better safe than sorry.
