Good News- Chemo is kinda-sorta over.

Bad News- Radiation may now begin, depending on what the PET scan says.

Good News- PET scan should be the first week of March.

Bad News- So is my mom's mastectomy.

........ Fuck it, I'm hibernating this spring. Wake me up when the shit stops flinging -.-

Yay! For the good news. Sorry to hear about the bad news. For what it's worth, my 90 year old aunt (my gram's sister) was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. It sucks. There are no other words for it.

How many more chemo treatments do you have to get?

I hope both you and your mom can weather the shit storm. I'll be thinking of you both. If there's anything else I can do.....

Well, chemo is technically over, but won't be super final certain-sure until the PET scan so they can make sure all lumps are gone. My doctor kinda sprang the radiation on me, since the extended chemo was *supposedly* going to negate radiation altogether. Blah.

Thank you for the hugs and good thoughts. Mom's taking it pretty well, Dad's dealing with it through jokes, and I'm mostly ok. And at least the lumps waited until I was mostly finished with chemo so we can concentrate on one cancer at a time.... Double blah.

Here's hoping for a clear PET scan.  If not, well, I know you'll kick radiation's ass.

It is very kind of you to keep people updated.  Hey, hibernating during mussy season means less mopping!

My best to your mum, and to you.
