Traveling to Danger Zone

This is probably the last one. Sorry to ask for so much. :horse:

On Saturday, I am traveling. Normally I'm comfortable with flying and such, and that hasn't changed, but it's what I'm flying into that I'm scared of.

Guess who I get to go stay with? :eek:

Basically I'm staying in the same place that my aunt and cousins are using for shelter from the bastard she's married to. She can't call the police because the laws over where she is are weird and she could get arrested for kidnapping her kids, because she took them out of the home and away from him.

He's been stalking the house and it's the only place I have available to stay. (financial fuzzies)

Even if she gets the right paperwork filed (which I'm pretty sure she's working on), they won't let her get a restraining order because she doesn't have video evidence of the stalking, and I'm not sure she ever properly documented the abuse. >>

I get to be there for two weeks. Kinda freaking out. (more than kinda, actually I'm pretty much frantic at this point)

So any prayers for my (and their) safety (or energy or really anything at this point) would be more than appreciated. We really need it.

(((((HarpingHawke)))))  I really understand this kind of situation (I, too, have a crazy ass family) and it's very difficult to keep one's mental health balanced when put in such a stressful environment. I really hope everything goes well for you and your family.

Does your aunt have a way to protect herself from him?

Well, at the moment, no, but I'm investing in bear-grade mace and some wasp spray for her to use. Maybe a baton... heh.
