That is not an option in today's political climate. It doesn't matter how long ago it was written or why, he's still an enabler of rape culture.  Unless you want to go after the Dems for it's attacks on Bob McDonald?  Or is this just monkey poo where such things only matter if it's the other side doing it?

Considering the policies each side supports, yeah...it's only relevant from one side...

I sincerely hope you never discover A Modest Proposal by Jonathan Swift, my friend.

Well you can start by lobbying the ACLU to stop opposing better background checks.

Would be more useful lobbying Republicans to stop opposing them.

Depends upon what you really want.  If you want to club the GOP over gun control, lobby them to stop opposing the ACLU.

If you want to reduce crazy folks getting access to guns from weak background checks lobby the ACLU to stop opposing stronger background checks.

Last I checked, the ACLU doesn't make laws...

True, but the ACLU lobbies the Democrats, especially at the state level, to prevent passing laws that would toughen up back ground checks.

I'm sure the NRA lobbying to roll back any restrictions at all has more of an effect...

For this one, probably not.  Like I said, the problem is the ACLU's stance.

So the ACLU has more influence over lawmakers than the NRA does?  I find idea that laughable.
