It would not be to them...they do not have to worry about medical care. Wait until this kicks in......you think the government has got their hands in everything now it's going to get worse! People that concocted this hair brain scheme are sitting on Capitol Hill with medical care for the rest of their life they don't have to worry about paying for shit! Makes a difference when you are getting something for nothing and get pocket the proceeds..........to say I HATE it is an understatement!

Like I said, still doesn't make it a criminal offense. If you are going to attack it, you need to use a different tack.  Never said I liked it, isn't the bill I wanted, but it's still not a criminal offense.

Have to agree with Mandrina.  There are taxes (used to be penalties) for non-compliance, but those are all civil offenses, not criminal ones.  So, unless you are going to try and have a show down with the local police over garnishment of your pay check, it's not a criminal offense.

One of the goals, yes.  Also to get health coverage for folks generally deemed 'uninsurable'-- people with pre-existing conditions & other risk factors.
