We were discussing the MN situation in the nearby "France Legalizes Same-Sex Marriage" thread. Which, considering the lightning speed of progress on this issue, would be more aptly titled "______________ Legalizes Same-Sex Marriage."

Awww . . . somehow I find that kind of a disappointment.  I don't know, Bachmann has always genuinely scared me for reasons I can't quite articulate.  It's not just that I dislike her politics; there's something about her that creeps me out.

And, in my book, all was done without having to go to the courts.  Whether it's done by elected officials, or direct vote it will create much less of a legal push back in the long haul.

Next step is fund raising to repeal state constitional amendments banning SSM, followed by getting SSM legalized

Personally I don't think Bachmann will really lose it until her "ex-gay" husband leaves her for...well, you know.

What I find funny is the Crazy-Eyed Picture that was photoshopped into was released with an interview with her in Newsweek.  Meaning that she (or at the vary least, her handlers) approved that photo.

I hope he settles down with some nice guy and they laugh and laugh about how he used to be married to her.  You know, after years of actual therapy.
