I'm waiting for the final count.  A couple of the 'battleground' states are still in flux.

Looks like Romney has the same idea. CBC just said they're still refusing to make a concession or talk.

I suspect this will take a while, though, as they were showed footage of the long line-ups still at voting polls in Florida about a half hour ago on CBC and the polls were to close awhile ago.

According to MSNBC, the Romney campaign isn't conceding Ohio as going to Obama, so we'll see how that goes.

Even without Ohio, Obama won.

*waves a wee blue flag*

In other good news: Todd "Legitimate Rape" Akin and Richard "Rape is God's Will" Mourdock are both out.

*also waves a wee blue flag*

And hallelujah, I'm so glad those two rape-apologist jerks went down in flames, especially Akin--he was making me embarrassed to live in Missouri.

YES!

Despite the crappy economy...despite despicable attempts at voter suppression...despite vast sums of SuperPAC money enabled by Citizens United...despite truly racist bullshit hurled his way...he pulled it off. This country will be a little saner for it.
The first song sets the wheel in motion / The second is a song of love / The third song tells of Her devotion / The fourth cries joy from the sky above
The fifth song binds our fate to silence / and bids us live each moment well / The sixth unleashes rage and violence / The seventh song has truth to tell
The last song echoes through the ages / to ask its question all night long / And close the circle on these pages / These, the metamythos songs

This feminist is rejoicing and happy dancing all over the place! Here's hoping we all have more to celebrate once the ballot initiatives come in.

Everyone's saying it because Jon Stewart cracked the joke awhile back and we're all horribly unoriginal.

AND Maine and Maryland both legalized same sex marriage, BY POPULAR VOTE. First time it's ever been legalized via referendum.

I liked the part where I got to keep my rights as a human being and earn a few more along the way. That's always fun. *munches on pastries*
