* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

From the article: "While no damage is reported to the office, the attack damaged the doorway." Not a very successfully firebombing was it?

There are some really crazy people in Texas. Unfortunately, they aren't all this incompetent.

Well, the problem isn't unique to Texas.  You have a pattern of violence against Democratic/'Liberal' politicians.  Gifford in Arizona, the guy taking pot shots at the White House, the firebombing here.  Heck, even the vandalism of the athiest billboard is part of the pattern.

Yeah, I saw a story from Arkansas where some waste of life killed a liberal politician's cat and carved the word "liberal" into it.  People are sick.

Why the f*ck did that scumbag kill the politician's cat? Couldn't the scumbag have just grafitti'd on the politician's car or something?

(Sorry; I'm owned by cats, so stories like that really get me. Even beyond the initial outrage against any form of animal cruelty.)

That seems an inadequate epithet in the circumstances.
