* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

I've read theories like this. I don't think there is much to support that nature is whackier over the long term.

But there is something different going down. Humans have never existed on this planet in the number in which they exist today. That is a fact. We do not know the repercussions of that very recent and rapid growth. That is also a fact.

I'm kind of leery of two lines of thought. That the earth is going to correct itself in some way like vengeance AND that it's totes safe to ignore the fact that we are, as a species, going to have to deal with nature differently because nature is, was and always will be at our disposal. Both seem to ignore some science to the contrary, and both are a little egocentric IMO.

And the jury is still out on some of the disastery type things that may have human causes. Small earthquakes after massive fracking? There are all kinds of town hall meetings in this region about that to see if it is so. Those huge sludge troughs from mountain top mining? What the heck is going to happen with that mess? The potential for our fossil fuel addiction to play a part in contamination of our other natural resources is not some made up worrisome fiction. Neither is the disaster potential for super strains of bacteria that have evolved to be resistent to antibiotics. These things are real.

I do not think panic or worry are useful, but neither is ignoring the need for a re-examination of how we use our resources as a species.

I suspect the mystics feel a shift due to the massive expansion of human consciousnesses. Maybe that's what you feel. More people experience natural disasters now because there are more people about to experience them. We may be at a tipping point, or we may just be at a new stage of development as a species. I do not know.

Firstly, the article cited yahoo as a source, which I'm not really ok with. Yahoo may report the weather but I don't feel it's an accurate source on climate issues.
That being said, I personally believe that humanity has done quite a bit of damage to the planet. Is it causing the weather to go nuts? I have no clue and nobody can say with certainty that there's a connection there. But I do think that when you are blowing up mountains to get coal, when there is only 2% of native, untouched forest left where I live, and when there are garbage patches floating in at least two oceans on the planet, then you've really screwed things up.
In my personal spirituality, I believe that the planet is conscious. Not in the same way people are, but I'd say it's aware of what's happening to it. I don't think it would be out of the realm of possibility for it to put a leash back on human behavior. *Not trying to push my own agenda here, it's just a personal opinion*
