* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

I think they are beautiful, inspiring, crazy and totally incorrect.

This is quite possibly my most favorite description of Nietzsche's writings, EVER.

I adore Nietzsche. I do not agree with a lot of his ideas, but as a character I am a big fan. I started reading him at the age Jack mentioned, and continued on up through college where I took some classes where he featured heavily.

I was seriously deluded for a very long time, and it has only been recently I am breaking away from it. I used to be a nihilist. I managed to move from that, to existentialism. Now I am working on breaking free of the bulk of that.

During those times, I clung to Nietzsche's writings. I was drawn to him so much for a reason I was not entirely sure of.

It was not until this past year when I was doing some research that I accidentally stumbled upon some of his letters. Apparently later in life when the madness was setting in, among other people, Nietzsche believed himself to be some kind of incarnation of Dionysus. Seeing as how I work a good deal with Dionysus and struggle with my own kind of madness as well, it was pretty revealing.

My partner finally made me realize that I took the WRONG lesson from Nietzsche, and should consider him more of an anti-example in a lot of ways. Someone who got lost in the madness instead of pulling through onto the other side.

Still love the man, and love his writing.

(Sorry for reviving this thread; I could not keep my mouth shut on this one!)
