* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Stray cat
« on: December 08, 2015, 01:08:34 pm »
So i saw this stray outside my grandmas house. He's a cute, scrawny, cat. My grandma was so intent of shooing it off, but i realize with our winter, to shoo it off would mean for it to die. I am so transfixed on finding this cat a home. He is extremely people friendly and wants to be in a house. We can't do that for him. (I am assuming it is a fixed male, but i could be wrong)
I call him bast like the cat god. It was the first thing to come to my mind upon seeing him.
He walks kind of funny, with his head to the side. I think he had something happen to him to cause that.
I have asked my mom to take him in temporarily as an outdoor cat, but sooner or later he will need a forever home. I just wanted to share bast on this page because this cat truly touched my heart.

Poor thing! Do you have an animal clinic/shelter in the area you could take him to? You may want to go to the shelter to have them see if he is microchipped just to check. If he is that friendly someone might be missing him. If you or your mom have other cats it's definitely smart to keep him isolated until you know if he has feline leukemia or distemper. I am not sure where you live, but in my area they have a spay today program that will spay/neuter cats for low cost or free. Good luck with your new friend!

Thank you.
Luckily we have no other cats. I din't believe there is anywhere we can take him like a shelter. I do want to put up missing cat signs. I honestly believe that he was dumped near my grandmas house. I hope that isn't the case though
