Yay!
Happy to hear this! :)

FYI: There's a new "Elvis at the dinner table video" we took last night attached to that blog post. If you haven't see Elvis begging for his hand-outs after our supper, you really need to see it.

We're home. It went really, really well and he's drunk as a skunk in his own crate, but he's at home and he can sleep it off until he's ready to rejoin the world. :)

That is wonderful news! Prayers for a speedy recovery. :)

He really is doing well. He just took his first steps out of the crate. Two forward, one sideways, half a step back. Then got his legs a bit more under him. Potty outside on the leash and some laps of water. He's back in his crate, but he's watching when something happens around him.

I'll offer him a bit of food tonight, mainly so he can get his meds down. I'll also try to take a photo of the post-op butt. Not very attractive, actually. LOL But still, I believe in sharing the results so that everyone who donated can gasp in amazement. LOL

He's a tough little guy. I told the vet tech today that you really count ever count him out.

Half a step back, folks. He's retaining fluid, so we're upping his diuretic and keeping an eye on his weight. Takes Lasix some time to work, but our vet knows what's up, so if we run into a problem, she won't be taken by surprise.

Nothing major right now. Just something we watch and tweak his meds for.
