Missing my kitty

....since I joined this site.  He was a male white Persian cat.  He strutted around like he was a God and he just knew everyone loved him.  He was mischievous, a natural hunter (surprisingly not all cats are), and such a lover.  He kept the peace in the house but attacked when needed (no mouse, insect, or rubber band stood a chance against him).  His name was Odin and lived up to his lofty name.  I miss my boy.

I would give you a cat if my girlfriend wouldn't kill me it seems I can't go anywhere in my house without stepping on 1 and my German short-hairs are afraid of them.

Aw I love kitties! Persian ones are really cute and fluffy. What happened to him?

We think he had cancer.  I'd been having problems keeping his IBS in check and when I did finally get it under control again he began losing function of his hind legs and became very unsteady on his feet...we think it was cancer.

so I dont have the only cat that growls! :) My car scares my mom's dog when we go and visit and he is a cockapoo...

Sandy went over the Rainbow Bridge in March 2011. Pets are the best ever. <3

The same way I have UPG that Persephone takes care of the souls of babies and young children, I have this image of Yinepu and Bast setting up a Duat Animal Shelter in the afterlife for all our furbabies who pass over.

Ouch...I'm sorry.  I said goodbye to my Odin just before Halloween. I no longer cry every time I see his paw print on the sympathy card from my Vet but I still miss him.

They sure are!  Before I became a nurse I was a Veterinary Technician (a nurse for animals).  I left that to provide my daughter with a better future but my soul remains with the animals.  Every time I picture Odin over the Rainbow Bridge I see him chasing butterflies, rolling around in Catnip, or greeting the new comers (that's what he did here...any new animal in the house and he'd be there to say "Howd ya do" and "welcome to our crazy".  They are wonderful creatures.
