Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you have any ideas on how to communicate with a deceased pets. Sometimes I get communications from my deceased dog Trini. She'll bark at me or scratch my door. I'll think it's my boy dog Wally because he needs help getting on the bed. So I will get up and end up realizing that she is communicating with me. Lol. I was just wondering if any of you have any thoughts on how to communicate with pets. I would appreciate any thoughts.

I mentioned previously, I mostly just try to put the feeling out there that I'd welcome contact.

When we lost our first kitty I waited until the following November 1st and went outdoors & put an offering of his favourite food out then sat for a short while with a tealight candle lit trying to commune with his spirit. Unfortunately I can't claim that it worked well (but then I'm also not very spiritually sensitive, in fact I think I'm pretty insensitive). My husband has stated that puss has visited a few times, though, and also that he's seen our other cat (who we rescued after our original cat's death) reacting to something that wasn't there.

When we lost our next kitty I specifically told her to come visit me (I can't recall whether I did this the first time or not). And when I do sense that she's here I will make a point of interacting with her, for at least a short time.

That's not much for you to go on, I'm afraid, but perhaps it's a start until maybe you get some more input in time.

I appreciate your thoughts Perdita. I will try to do something. I just want to communicate with Sabrina and let her know that we still love her even though she is gone from the physical world. I'm not too much of a sensitive either. It just happens when Trini (my previous dog who was euthanized before Sabrina) will bark or scratch at the door. She'll do it like when I'm sleeping lightly or between sleep and wake. Crazy.

I forgot to add that I usually try to spend time in the cats' favourite places while trying to communicate with them - so, the places where the kitties used to spend a lot of their time, relaxing and snoozing etc. Someplace where they'll hopefully feel comfortable spending time with me now, in spirit form.
