Author Topic: Explanation for movement of Quija board (Read 1290 times)

So a while ago whilst I was in grade 8 me and 2 friends decided to make a Quija board out of a heavy board that was used in for furniture we decorated it nicely and had a slider of plastic to go over the board to communicate. Before hand one of the friends had told us a story about a friends brother who had met a witch. The father of the son was a priest and decided to help the woman out. One day the witch told him to come into a van and she placed a quija board in his lap the van started shaking and he threw it out the window and ran off. About a week later in the story the witch phoned asking for the boy and told him to "look in his closet" and the quija board was there, I think they burned it after or something. I don't remember.

So anyways when we decided to use our own quija board we started to get communications from it containing various spirits. One was an old woman who had died a little while ago so we asked the board "are you the witch from the story?" The board replied "yes" By then we were pretty freaked out so we asked her to show a sign she was there. What the board ended up doing is moving the candles and blowing out the candles and the board literally moved a foot away from us. We were so scared because we had taken our hands off of it.

So my question is why do you think this spirit was contacting us? Sorry for the wall of text:o

Can anyone help me? I know this seems like it is made up, but it is a true story that happened to me.

She wasn't. You contacted her. Or thought you did, or convinced yourselves you had.

On another note - it is the middle of the night and you didn't even allow twenty minutes between your two posts. It is entirely possible that nobody who is on at the moment can or wants to answer you. Have patience. If you don't get any responses there really isn't anything you can do about it.
