I've heard stories of Egrogore's (sp) and other constructs being housed on the net and accessable.  But actual curses or demonic practices I have not heard anything along those lines.

Yet I do believe it is possible to down load an Egrogore to your computer via association to a given site.  For instance one might present the notion that this site, The Cauldron itself, has an egrogore that has been created by the people who utilize the site.  Each time you access the site or contribute to a discussion you strengthen the egrogore through the energy you contribute to the site.  Any money you donate to its maintenance equally seen as energizing the egrogore.

i've heard of people also seeing images or watching something that literally drives them insane but i have my doubts considering everyone has there own mental strength.

That sounds to much like the movies THE RING and its sequel or a few episodes of Paranormal and shows like it.

I went looking for Satan's Spinx and everything points to it being an urban legend type thing.  So I highly doubt it's anything more than like the story line of THE RING movie.

Yes.

Well, I don't know about attaching a demon, but attaching a curse is as easy as attaching a curse to a letter or a spell to a resume.
