So, I am curious how different people view the God and Goddess in Wicca. Do you connect to the Goddess and the God as their own being and then the other Gods and Goddesses are their own individual? Or do you connect with the God and Goddess as The Green Man and Mother Earth (or Gaia)...or Pan and Gaia (for example)? In other words, do you connect to the God and Goddess as simply the God and Goddess, or when you speak and connect with the God and Goddess are they with specific names (like the examples before). If that sounds confusing, the simplest way I can think to explain what I am asking at the moment is - I have heard of the belief that the Goddess and God can be compared to that of a diamond - one thing, one being, but with many facets or "sides/personalities" if you will...or is the God and Goddess their own individual and other Gods and Goddesses like (insert any God or Goddess here) are separate individuals from "the"* God and Goddess. For instance, if you are conversing with Demeter, are you conversing with "the"* Goddess, or when you are conversing with Zeus, are you conversing with "the"* God?

(Note: If I can specify/clarify on anything at all, let me know. I, at the time of typing this am trying to ask my question as thoughtfully as possible. I know it may sound a bit jarbled, as it is hard for me to ask in words...aka...I know what I mean in my head. For which, I apologize, however, I am willing to clarify on anything that may make for easier answering and discussion.)

*When I say "the" God or Goddess I am not trying to sound limiting in the sense that there is only one God or Goddess (although there is nothing wrong with those beliefs is you so connect to your deities as such), I am more so referring to the God and Goddess referred to when a beginner were to type into Google "who is the God and Goddess in Wicca" and get results explaining that the Horned One and the Triple Goddess are generally revered.

In traditional Wicca, the Horned One and Triple Goddess are two specific deities whose names are held privately by Their priesthoods.

Eclectic Wiccans have a wide variety of practices and beliefs.

I see, very interesting. I didn't know that traditional Wiccans have that view. I just love learning of all the ways people view and connect with deities.
