Perhaps a Strange Question About Pantheons

What kind of visions are you having? If your seeing someone in a dark place remember that 90% of our universe is black( unknown) matter. Then we have large amounts that we can't see with any human equipment. There are stars that are there but can't be seem as well. Then of you think about quantum matter everything is connected. You could be seeing something that's very real just they can't detect it.

 
My last vision was of three human shaped figures surrounded by a not very bright bluish light from behind it. The result is that I can't see any features, just a silhouette. When the light appears and I first see them, I feel a strong sense of peace and safety. When they talk its almost a whisper and they don't answer any of my questions. They simple appear, speak in sort of a whisper, and then the light fades and they're gone. So far, all they've wanted to tell me are their names. It seems important to them that I know who they are. But the research I've done on their names has revealed nothing.

I don't agree with the person who said it was mental illness. I only have visions when I actively engage in trance work, not when I am awake and firmly in the physical world. I have control over when they happen, they do not happen randomly. I am aware they are visions, they don't scare me, and no one asks me to do any harm to myself or others. Quite the opposite, really, as I feel safe and protected and it feels very normal and natural.

Also, I've had visions during trance work before (never anything like the above) and actually went to a psychiatrist to talk about it. Since I had no other symptoms of mental illness, she was unwilling to give me a medical diagnosis other than me having lucid dreams and said I didn't need to worry unless they started affecting my daily life or my relationships with others.

By godmother I don't mean like Cinderella they watch over a bloodline.  They are called Faery or Fae but most know fairy. They are there to help those who carry their DNA. That's my impression of your vision. You always have to decide. Your not mentally ill if it trance is work. You could do a small work with them to see how it goes. I'm not good at hearing names from unbound spirits. So that's nice that you hear the names. Ask them to take you through a journey. Something like that. Wear your shield keep your cord connected. Thanks so much for your advice! I'm definitely a bit adventurous and will ask for a journey. I'm very curious about them and would love for them to reveal more to me. I'm tempted to start a blog and document my visions and my work, just in case it turns into something really interesting. I'll PM you a link if I choose to do so.

If it were me I would keep a private journal and choose which parts to post to a blog. You've already discovered some are narrow and unkind.

I wanted to say as well that you have had some pretty fierce advice - excellent counsel - on going your own way. I completely agree with this. On my initiation the first vows were that no one Knows me more than I do (Air) no one has authority over me (Fire).
So yes, it's your life. your path, make it in your own way.
But also, disapproval, rejection, is very very painful. So don't be surprised if you sometimes bend to others. Humans are gregarious, that means herd animals, made to shape to each other. It makes the free part all the more precious because it's small! You can always choose to end the bending when you feel stronger.

Mmm a thought - fertility is yours too. It belongs to all of us. If you think of yourself as an isolated atom, and not one who expects to breed, that does cut you out.
But you're not an isolated atom. You're part of the human web, the life web, and it urgently needs fertility.
We are linked to the bees who fertilise the plants we eat and use. We are symbiotically merged with tees and green beings who breathe out what we breathe in - so if they fail to breed we're done for. I cuddle my cats and bless their mothers. While I suffered much from my parents I also gained much from them and their fertility made me. .... and so on. It's a web thing. Freya understands that I would think.

Freya is a wonderful One to call you. Anyone who can make two giant Cats work together has my profound respect.
