* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

I'm a newbie so I'm going to ask a question I'm really confused about. What exact does She changes everything she touches, and everything she touches, changes mean?? I'm assuming it refers to the Goddess?

Those phrases are from a chant by Starhawk, one of the founders of Reclaiming, a witch and priestess who has had a major impact on American Paganism. (She's written a number of books, but her Spiral Dance, originally published in 1979 with various revised editions since, is a classic text in the field now.)

What they mean is - well, like any religious song or poem - one part about the words and one part about what they mean to you. The basic idea, however, is that change is part of the experience of humans interacting with the divine, and that that's part of what we're reaching for when we reach out to the divine.

Various traditions and paths within Paganism have picked up the usage in various specific ways (for example, my tradition includes the line in our dedication ritual, when people commit to becoming students of the tradition, to emphasise that people who seek that kind of training should expect a lot of changes and shifts in their lives as they learn about and shape themselves in keeping with a new religious path.

One of the things we talk about with that is that while no healthy group is going to require you to change friendships or hobbies or interests or how someone spends their time and energy, putting yourself in a deliberate path to self-awareness, to development, to learning, can trigger a desire for all sorts of changes.

For some people, that's how they view themselves or others. For some people it's about what they're doing for work. For some people, it changes relationships. When it works right, it's usually about letting go of things that really weren't working well (say, letting go of a broken relationship that can't be fixed, or finding a job that is more sustainable for that person), but that doesn't mean the changes are *easy* - just that the end result is better.
